Younger children can crawl through a tunnel at its mouth, while older ones climb a ladder onto its back, choose from two slides, cross a bridge to the tail and scale the climbing holds at the rear. A cargo net hangs beneath the tail.
A separate play tower beside the dragon uses a sailboat as its entrance and has a tall winding slide. The hill also holds swings, boat-shaped seesaws, a roundabout and interactive boards on shapes and numbers. Seashell-shaped alcoves around the jogging track contain adult fitness equipment.
Brontosaur Park, Pasir Ris Street 71
Brontosaur Park is a one-hectare green between Blocks 777 and 778, bounded by Pasir Ris Street 71 and the Tampines Expressway. It was completed in February 1999 and officially opened in November 2000. The centrepiece is a long-necked dinosaur that children enter through its mouth, climb through its belly and leave by a roller slide running down its tail.
A smaller dinosaur slide and activity boards serve toddlers. Dino footprint springers, dinosaur egg shapes on the soft flooring, dinosaur teeter totters and rope hammocks strung between stegosaurus-spike posts fill the rest of the play area. Metal sculptures and small dinosaur statues line the paths around the green.
Park Aquaria, Pasir Ris Street 11
Park Aquaria has two ship playgrounds beside Block 141 Pasir Ris Street 11. The area for children aged five to twelve is built from fishing boats linked by criss-crossing climbing nets, with rope tunnels, ladders and a mini rock climbing wall. The toddler area for ages two to five uses sailboats joined by a plank bridge, with a steering wheel, a talking tube and two slides.
Hammock and basket swings sit between the two areas, along with open paved space where children can ride scooters. The playground reopened fully after 31 October 2025, following a renovation that closed parts of it for months. In April 2025, one resident publicly complained that the new structure was smaller than the one it replaced.
Costa Grove Lobster, Pasir Ris Drive 3
The lobster stands among Blocks 588B, 588C, 590A and 590B of the new Costa Grove estate, between Pasir Ris Mall and Car Park C of Pasir Ris Park. Built by CT Art Creation, it is bright red with googly eyes and feelers. Children climb in through a cargo net at the tail, a vertical shaft or climbing ramps, then leave by one of two slides shaped as pincers or by a fireman’s pole hidden in the head. A trampoline is set into the structure, and a rope bridge and a circular swing sit alongside.
At Block 590B, a pair of mudskippers perched on a mound give toddlers their own play hill with steps, a slide, colourful grips and a low rope crossing, under a tarp for shade. Block 588B has a low slide with a basket swing and a see-saw beside it, and Block 588C has an elevated play area with huts linked by rope bridges and a netted merry-go-round.

This group can enjoy all four sites. The roller slide on the brontosaurus and the lobster’s pincer slides are favourites, and the lower parts of the sea dragon suit a confident five-year-old with a parent close by.
Ages 7 to 12
Older children get the most from the sea dragon, the lobster’s fireman’s pole and the climbing nets between the boats at Park Aquaria. Little Day Out specifically advises that the sea dragon and its tower suit older children.

Nearest MRT and Bus
